Wilfredo “WV2″ Vazquez Jr. (17-0-1, 14 KOs), the current WBO Latino super bantamweight champion and rated by the WBO as no. 2 contender. He’s the son of the former world champion (Wilfredo Vazquez, Sr.), where he dreams of putting a history of a father and son world champion. Will he make it?

Marvin “Marvelous” Sonsona (14-0-1, 12 KOs), ranked by WBO as no. 3 and the former WBO super flyweight holder losing the title due to overweight before his first title defense against challenger Alejandro “Payasito” Hernandez.  Sonsona must work hard to regain his record and put a mark on every speculation of not focusing on his training. Will he hold his 2nd world title?

Both undefeated and they put their 0 loss record on danger for the vacant WBO junior featherweight title. Who will win in their boxing showdown?

“The Double Assault” PPV show continues later that night from Guadalajara, Mexico, presented by Boxeo De Gala. The headliner is the 12-round main event featuring WBC light flyweight champion Rodel “Bantang Mandaue” Mayol (26-4-1, 20 KOs), rated No. 2 by The Ring, and WBC No. 1 contender, former WBC light flyweight titlist Omar “Giant Killer” Nino (28-3-1, 20 KOs). Also airing from Guadalajara is a 10-round WBC Youth lightweight championship match between defending champ Daniel “Tremendo” Estrada (21-1, 17 KOs) and veteran Angel Alirio “El Morocho” Rivero (21-7-1, 14 KOs).
