At the end of Detective Conan Movie 17, we all noticed the production tease of TOHO regarding their upcoming Detective Conan Movie 18 entitled “Ijigen no Sniper” (Detective Conan: Sniper From Another Dimension) set for Japan release on April 19, 2014. The new installment is part of the film series based on the Case Closed anime and manga series by Gosho Aoyama.
Get ready anime fans for the Detective Conan movie 2014 follows an unidentified and dangerous assassin aiming the trigger to Conan and the return of some familiar faces from the Anime TV series, Shuichi Akai, Sera and many others. Well, you have to check the first video trailer for the said anime movie below.
A sniper opens the video by saying, “Finally, the time has come,” and proceeds to shoot a man in the chest. The same shooter aims at Conan and says, near the end of the video, “High school detective Shinichi Kudo, playtime is over.”
The 2014 Detective Conan film is directed by Kobun Shizuno who also directed the last three Detective Conan films. The screenplay is penned by Kazunari Kouchi while the music is made by Katsuo Ono. The main cast features the voices of Minami Takayama as Conan Edogawa, Wakana Yamazaki as Ran M?ri, and Rikiya Koyama as Kogor? M?ri.
