The Gintama movie is firstly rumored on October 2009 where Warner Brothers registered the internet domain name “Gintama-movie.com” and no answers on them regarding the registration. One month later, Shonen Jump released it’s 58th issue where they officially confirmed the production of the movie with a working title “Gekijoban Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen”.

Gintama Movie Plot

“Gintama: A New Retelling Benizakura Arc” movie plot retelling the story arc from Gin Tama in which Kotaro Katsura is attacked by a member of the army Kiheitai, and Odd Jobs Gin start searching for him.
