Ponyo also known as Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is a 2008 animated movie created by Studio Ghibli. The anime movie was written by no other than acclaimed and award-winning director Hayao Miyazaki. The tenth movie of Miyazaki for Ghibli. It was already released last July 19, 2008 and will be released in movie theaters in the US and Canada on August 14, 2009.
Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea
The plot of Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is centered to Ponyo, a fish girl who is running away to her home in the sea. She ended up stranded on the shore and thank goodness Sosuke noticed and rescued her. He’s the one who named “Ponyo” to the fish girl and promised that he will protect her forever.
Ponyo is really eager to become a human like Sosuke. Will Sosuke see the human form of Ponyo or she will forever become a fish?
